MaDam Trash
MaDam Trash lives in the most polluted swamp in all the land, right next to the city dump. She’s a resourceful and solo beaver who likes to chew on old wiring and search for spare parts that float into her dam. Her lodge is full of tossed trinkets, rusty crusties, and used Kleenex that keep blowing over from the landfill. Her lodge might not be in Bark-itectural Digest, but she’s never had a problem she couldn’t fix with a bit of spit, elbow grease, and swamp grade epoxy.
MaDam Trash sometimes feels lonely because there are no other beavers like her. She has a fuzzy muff and thick tail like the beavers in those sticky magazines, but she’s also a front loading washing machine with a drum that’s a little off center. How was she born, and where is her family?
For the last nine months, MaDam Trash has had a bad feeling in her undercarriage and her cycles are all over the place. Will she ever be able to fix her leaky hose and tighten up her loose belts, or will she be the last of her kind?
